I am with our lovely nurse Ranen. And Ranen, we’re gonna talk about a few different things here. Um, you’ve had filler in the past. Mm-Hmm, <affirmative>. But more recently you’ve been on this, uh, diet and exercise quest, right? For sure. So if you’ve had filler in the past and you’ve lost weight, even if you’ve never had filler, sometimes the weight loss will manifest itself in different spots. We’re gonna talk about these areas that we notice that are different. So if we’re looking, we’ll see that in your temples and then kind of around your cheekbones. You can see this area below. So what I want to do is I want to soften those transitions and there’s an expression. They say, you can love your body or love your face, but not both. But one of the beauties of filler is, guess what? You can, you can love both. And so, um, how do you feel with losing the weight? How do you feel about all these things?

Ranen:

I mean, I feel great. I mean, I love the fact that I am, you know, lighter.

Dr. Shah:

And so it’s super common now. We see so many patients who are coming in, um, with weight loss for all reasons, whether it’s diet or exercise, um, or, um, ozempic or all the other fun things that are out there. Um, and so, um, sometimes they’ll get, um, concerned about this and a lot of times it’s just about rebalancing the face. So that’s gonna be our mo today. It’s just gonna kind of rebalance the face. Um, we’re gonna be doing two syringes. Uh, what are we injecting today? Nia, RH four RHAR, hh four, RH, four. Um, and there’s lots of great products we can put through here, but we’ll be using that today. Um, and uh, let’s have some fun. We’ll kind of see this in kind of this time reaction part. So, temples are one of those fun things that when patients lose weight, they often see it in their temples first. So we’re creating this softness through here. One of the cool things about injecting temples too is that it can soften your cheekbones a little bit, but if you don’t create the balance with putting filler in your temples and your cheekbones, you’re gonna have a discrepancy and it’s gonna stand out.
Okay. So now if we’re looking through here, we’ve balanced that somewhat. We still have to get these cheekbones balanced. You can see this left cheekbone and the right are essentially not the same. This left cheekbone is standing out more than the right one. So I’m actually gonna add a little bit. Again, I don’t want the cheekbone to stand out too much, but before I do anything, I’m gonna actually add a little bit to this right cheekbone so it looks the same. So again, I don’t want her cheek bones to be more prominent, but I have to balance it. So I could either subtract from here or add a little here. So we’re just gonna add a little heavy drop here, so, okay. Just balance it out. Take a look.

Oh my God, I look softer. Very nice. Thank you so much.

So if we look at what we did, so kind of one of the harsh, harder things was, um, you know, with the cheeks, uh, this is gonna settle a little bit like your left and right cheek. Then we got rid of this shadow through here. Mm-Hmm. <affirmative> the shadow through here. Love that We softened some of this shadow. Mm-Hmm, <affirmative>. And then your temple. We added actually a decent amount to balance it. And then I did a little with your brow. ’cause your brow always likes to go peaky up. Mm-Hmm. <affirmative>. Um, so I put a little here and a little here, and that’s gonna settle down a little bit so we can hopefully get your tail up just a bit. This is all with filled there without, not without surgery. Mm-Hmm, <affirmative>. Um, if it still doesn’t look as soft through there, then it’ll go good. But I think it looks softer.
