Laser Hair Removal

Laser Hair Removal works by targeting melanin in the hair follicle area. Melanin is what gives hair its color. Eumelanin provides black or brown pigment while, pheomelanin provides blonde and red pigment to the hair follicles. It is for this reason that lasers target darker hair follicles. Therefore, people with blonde, red or grey hair would not be ideal candidates and would have to seek alternative options.
