And a common question I get from patients is that, is it going to hurt?

And, you know, pain is subjective, but one thing I do to help maintain that pain is I like to use a topical anesthetic, like a lidocaine. We leave it on for about five to 10 minutes before reinject and it really helps alleviate some of that pain that you feel. I also like to use, um, a little ice and that seems to help quite a bit.
