Hey everyone, Renee here from Dr. Shaw’s office.
Today I wanted to kind of talk a little bit about how to get your skin prepared before getting a laser resurfacing treatment or a Morpheus.
The most important thing is that you aren’t on Accutane. Accutane causes a lot more sensitivity with any kind of treatment that you may do, and if so, you’re gonna have to wait and hold off before getting any kind of treatment. If you are just on a retinol, a very strong retinol, just let us know. Depending on the strength, we may want you to stay off of it for at least a week or so before getting your treatment done. It’s just easier if you come in clean face, no makeup, post blazer, resurfacing or polymorphous. It’s very important to just kind of avoid the sun. Try to cover up as much as you can because your face will be ultrasensitive, the topical exosomes, that’s what’s also going to kind of help with your healing. It’s gonna speed it up a lot more, and it’s going to help kind of like shield your skin.
If you have any more questions, you can DM me, but I’ll be more than happy to answer any of your questions.
