Hi, this is Renee from Dr. Shaw’s office here at Aesthetic Skin. We do some invasive treatments and some non-invasive, you know, facial treatments can cause a little pain or discomfort while getting the treatment done. So in this office we do try to make our patients feel as comfortable as possible. We have some agents and some products that can kind of help relieve some of that pain. One being some topical numbing cream that usually works, uh, superficially. I usually do that like pre, uh, Morpheus or, uh, laser resurfacing. Also, we have a Zimmer chiller. Zimmer chiller is, uh, basically cold air blowing onto your skin, so it’s really going to kind of help distract you along with keeping your skin nice and cool while getting a laser treatment done. We also have probably one of my favorites is the nitrous, also known as laughing gas. That really puts you in more of a calmer mood and you are gonna have like less of an anxiety. So we do try our best to keep our patients at comfort, uh, level while they’re getting their treatments.
