Botox injections are a non-invasive way to soften lines, wrinkles and in some cases, reshape the face. Our approach is to soften those lines while still giving a natural appearance. We work with each patient’s anatomy to customize an approach ideal for their face.
A common misconception about Botox is that the procedure eliminates facial movements and expressions but, expert injectors will be able to preserve facial expression and soften patient’s wrinkles. Another important element to Botox therapy is to carefully map the patient’s facial muscles anatomy and remove movement in select muscles while lessening movement in others, creating a natural look.

Dr. Shah has been featured in several lay press articles regarding his injection techniques for botulinum toxin, in particular for Botox pore reduction, using botulinum toxin. Vein finder. Veins can lead to early and late bruises. Since the botox is not injected in the vein, many patients report a longer effect than other places.
Small gauge needle. Most injections with botox take place with a medium to small sized needle. However this can create pain and more likely to cause a bruise. We use a needle which creates less impact on skin and bruising.
Pre injection prepping. For those patients who bruise easily, is suggested to avoid blood thinners and take MEND cosmetic to prep the patient by adding arnica, bromelein, and other blood thickening agents
